Paula Alvear is an actor, singer and model living in New York City. She has been performing her whole life, developing her talents in music and theater, going on to major in Vocal Performance at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.
Classically trained, Paula has also studied jazz and Latin music. Fusing all of her training, she creates a unique sound that is her own, a synergy of pop, R&B and Latin influences.
In addition to music Paula has been passionately focused on acting, training in Los Angeles studios AMAW, Margie Haber, Deborah Aquila and Brian Reise. She has starred in notable projects such as short film Hector:Lost Souls with Switchblades directed by Jeff Compton and produced by Michele Abbott from The L Word and most recently worked on the TV show Solve and ABC’s The Rookie.
